When I normally write a blog, I usually write the draft on my Apple Notepad while sitting on the sofa at home, and then finish it off at a nearby Starbucks. When I do this, I always bring my gadget pouch with me.
My favorite gadget pouch lately:
However, recently I have become more minimalist and I often find myself thinking that I want to carry my Macbook Air without cables. I haven't had a wallet for five years. When I was browsing Amazon with that thought in mind, I found that Sanwa Direct had an adhesive pocket that can be attached to a laptop.
I thought it would be nice to be able to fit a mouse as well as a smartphone, and the price was under 2,000 yen so I bought it.
Suddenly review
I don't see many products of this type, so I was curious to see how it actually feels to use. There aren't many reviews on Amazon, either.

The packaging looks like it could hold stockings or tights. I like the eco-friendly feel with no waste. The opening ceremony was quick and without sentimentality.

I tried sticking it on my Macbook Air (11.6 inches).
The size is perfect! It feels as if it was made to order, and my expectations are building at this point.
The pockets are divided into three sections: small, large, and medium.

It feels smooth and comfortable to the touch. However, although I've thoroughly removed all dust from it in the photo, it does tend to collect dust.
No matter how many times I scrubbed it with a brush and took pictures, the dust wouldn't go away, so I had to be very nervous about taking the pictures.
I don't really mind dust when using it on a daily basis, but when it comes to photography, the dust problem becomes more apparent on black gadgets, so I always have to be careful.

The texture of the pocket is like rubber, but it's not like that, it's more like cloth. It doesn't stretch much. It doesn't stretch, so I wonder if I can fit a mouse or a mobile HDD in it. It's very thin, so I'm a bit worried that it will tear if I put something with an edge in it.
I actually tried putting something in it.
Although I was a little worried, I decided to test it out to see if anything could actually fit into this thin cloth pocket.

I actually tried putting in a fountain pen, an ELECOM mini mouse, and an iPhone 16 Pro, and my slight anxiety was completely cleared up, and all my gadgets fit in without any problems. There's still room for the mouse, so it looks like I could fit cables in there too.
If you're going out in a minimalist style, this storage capacity may be enough.
However, new concerns arose.
The space for a fountain pen is quite tight, so if you try to force something that doesn't fit, the adhesive surface will peel off. And as mentioned in the Amazon reviews, there are comments saying that the adhesive surface peels off if you put a heavy hard disk in it.
There is no information that says the adhesive surface will weaken after being attached and removed several times, but if you put a hard disk inside and the adhesive surface comes off and it falls, it could be bad for your heart, so be careful not to put anything too heavy inside.

A picture of the Macbook Air screen standing upright. The screen does not back drop due to its weight, and stands up stably. I tried to keep it like this for a while, and the adhesive side stuck well without peeling off.
I folded my Macbook Air and tried holding it in my hand, and it held my mouse and iPhone securely without them slipping out, so I felt relieved that I could take it out with me without worry.

I also tried putting a mobile HDD in it, and it went in without any problems. It's not loose, and it holds it firmly. Even if you're not aiming to be a minimalist like me, I think it would be a good idea to put cables in a gadget pouch and digital gadgets in a pocket like this to keep things neat.
How waterproof is it?
I was wondering whether something like this really needed to be waterproof since my gadgets and laptop were exposed, but I gave it a try anyway.

The end result was an amazing water repellent finish. Even though it's so cheap, Sanwasa Direct doesn't cut corners in this area... they're not to be underestimated.
However, as you can see in the picture, the edges of the pockets become soft after just a few uses, which is a bit disappointing. *I rubbed them with my fingers and they went back to normal, though.
How does it actually feel to hold it?

When you actually hold it, the gadgets are quite stable and show no signs of falling.
It's smooth to the touch so it feels comfortable to hold.
You have to be careful about the gadgets you put in your pocket, but to be able to fit three of them in a case with this texture and feel for under 3 yen seems like quite a bargain.
I tried to see what other uses there were.

Just as expected, it fits perfectly in the fridge!
However, it blends in so well that what had previously looked like a gadget pocket suddenly became an item that seemed more like a part of everyday life.
By the way, I thought I could have put it in the bathroom as well, but I decided not to because I thought it would have damaged the wallpaper.
Summary

In terms of quality, I do feel that the price is commensurate with the product, but the gadget pocket, which increases the convenience of the nomadic style, seems quite useful and will come in handy in the future, so I think that this new addition will make my article writing even more productive.
What you put in is up to your imagination.
You can match it with a gadget pouch, or carry it on its own for a stylish, minimalist style while typing at a cafe.
If you're a nomadic gadget lover who loves new things, how about one for you?
