Good afternoon everybody.
I'm a beginner with Google Analytics.
I think many bloggers use Google Analytics to analyze their website traffic. But when you actually use it, it can be hard to understand.
At first, I also had a clue what to look at.
Google Analytics has a feature called "Create My Report" that allows you to create your own analytics reports.
This time, I have created a simple custom My Report with general indicators aimed at those who are new to Google Analytics, and I will distribute it together with an explanation and instructions on how to implement it.
*This article is intended for those who have already linked Google Analytics.
Here's a simple way to integrate Google Analytics with WordPress.

Custom Report Description

When you install Gadjemani's original My Reports, the above reports will be added to your My Reports list. Of course, you can switch between them and the reports you normally use, so don't worry.
If you're impatient, just import your custom report using the button below ^^
Let me explain how to read the report.
① to ④ are the main indicators of the number of access visits
⑤~⑥ are the main indicators of AdSense
⑨~⑩ are the trends in the number of accesses
⑪ to ⑫ are the main indicators of referral sources and access rankings
It consists of four blocks:
① Number of page visitors
This is the combined number of new users and repeat visitors within the past two years.
This is easy to understand →https://blog.siteanatomy.com/unique-pageviews/
②Number of page views
This number indicates how many pages a user visited.
This is easy to understand →:https://www.mitsue.co.jp/case/glossary/l_004.html
③Page bounce rate
This shows the percentage of users who visited a page and then left after viewing only that page.
*It cannot be said that a lower number is necessarily better.
This is easy to understand →https://innova-jp.com/bounce-rate-average/
④Page exit rate
This percentage indicates how many visitors viewed other pages and how long they stayed on the site.
*The lower the value, the better.

⑤AdSense page impressions
This shows how many full Adosense ads were displayed to the user.
⑥ Number of AdSense ad units displayed
It details how many times each ad unit was shown to users.
⑦AdSense clicks
This will tell you how many clicks your AdSense account has received.
⑧AdSense Revenue
This shows your current AdSense earnings.
⑨Changes in number of page visitors
The graph shows the trend in the number of visitors by page.
⑩Changes in number of page views
The graph shows the trend in the number of page views.
⑪Top 10 referral sources
It ranks the domains from which users have come.
It also shows AdSense revenue by domain.
⑫Top 10 page access rankings
It displays a ranking of which pages have the most access.
It also shows the bounce rate percentage by page.
*The page URL will actually be replaced with the page title.
※The AdSense data from ⑤ to ⑧ cannot be viewed unless AdSense and Analytics are linked. Please refer to the linking method below.

Specify the range of the data reference period

There is a calendar in the upper right corner of Analytics, so you can specify the data period for the report from here. I think it's best to refer to a period of about one month.
How to import your custom dashboard

Importing is very easy. When you click the button below, the screen shown above will appear, so just select the "View" you want to reflect the report data in and click "Create".
*Not compatible with GA4.
Once you've finished importing, your data will replace the values in your custom dashboard.

Summary
Originally, I was wondering if there was an easier way to view Google Analytics, and then someone told me about someone who had created and distributed a custom My Report, which made me want to try making one myself! That's how it all began.
I had intended to make this my own personal report, but someone from the editorial department suggested that I take this opportunity to distribute it, so after some trial and error, I decided to distribute it this time ^^
Whether it is easy to use or not is up to the user, and since it can be customized, it can also be used as a template.
I hope this custom My Report will be helpful to all bloggers out there!
↓The second installment of the Custom My Report has also been released!
That's all from editorial committee member M ^^♪
Have a nice day, everyone!
After importing your custom Mileboat, click
You can call up your custom My Report by going to "Custom" → "My Report List" → "Gadgetmania Analytics".
