Furthermore, we repeatedly went through a process of trial and error based on a huge amount of data on the wrists of many different people, and this is the final product that we came up with.

Thank you for your time today. First of all,Please tell us the background to the development of Hillcok.
When I was designing something, my wrists were strained and I felt like my arms were going to fall off.
I was feeling some discomfort in my wrist so I was creating items to help relieve it.
I can't show you the old one now, but it was the first Hillock model, and then I got a design from a colleague.
It was well received, so we decided to actually create it and, as we continued making prototypes, we looked at data on the wrists of various people, including those with large builds and those with thin wrists, and felt that the shape could be generalized to a certain extent, so we created it based on that data.
Could you tell us about the difficulties you faced during the development of Hillock?
At first, I just made it and used it myself, and I didn’t intend to sell it, but when I started selling it, I realized that many people would use it, so the shape I made at the time was no good, so I remade it…
My main job is designing mechanisms, so design is outside my area of expertise and it didn't work out well, so I studied design and came up with some ideas.

By leaving only what is necessary and avoiding over-spec, we were able to create a minimalist configuration using high-quality materials without excess or deficiency.
The biggest buyers are the M2 demographic, which is men in their prime working years.
Our products are purchased by a wide range of people, from those in their 60s to those in their teens.
What do you want to convey to the world through your products, and what do you want to do next in the future?
When I listened to the voices of customers who actually purchased the product, I thought that maybe it was only people who use CAD or computers a lot who were interested in it, but the needs are quite wide, including those who use it for gaming and women. I hope that by researching how to meet those needs, we can be of use.
Our research has shown that the height can also be adjusted. We believe that being able to adjust the height will broaden the range of needs even further, so we would like to incorporate this into our next product.
Do you have any message for the users who supported you through crowdfunding?
I have nothing but words of gratitude.
Speaking of wrist rests, most products have gel or cushioning properties, but there are no portable wrist rests on the market yet, so many people have never actually used one. However, some customers have bought one after watching our video, others have purchased from social media, and some have become repeat customers. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to them.
We are also looking into improving our products.
There is still room for improvement in areas such as color options and height adjustment, so please look forward to future updates.
~Advanced~ I tried putting Hillock on both wrists
As an application, I tried placing Hillock on both my wrists!
This actually feels surprisingly right.
I had been focusing on my right hand which moves the mouse, but when I tried wearing it on my left hand as well, my hand moved smoothly when typing on the keyboard and it felt great!
This was a way of using it that worked for me.
